Democrat Corrine Brown Facing 277 Years in Prison

Congresswoman Corrine Brown (D-FL) has been found guilty of 18 out of 22 counts and could face a potential 277 years in prison. Of course, she won’t get that, but it does give you an indication of how serious her crimes were. She has been found guilty of a range of serious offenses including conspiracy, mail fraud, wire fraud, tax fraud, scheming to conceal facts and obstruction of IRS laws.

Did you hear about this on the MSM? Of Course Not! Because they aren’t interested in exposing crimes, hypocrisy, and fraud on the left, only the right.

Brown set up a “charity” that was never granted charitable status (for very clear reasons) and proceeded to fund her lavish lifestyle with money that she conned form generous souls. And now she is asking the courts for mercy based on her 13 terms in office.

But asking for mercy based on working in a position that she abused and used for so many years is ridiculous. She did not represent the people who elected her, she took money for the greater good of Corrine Brown, no one else.

She said:

“I never imagined I would one day be in court asking people to speak on my behalf – never. In hindsight, I wished I had been more diligent in overseeing my personal and professional life. The idea that some people could believe these charges hurt me because it runs contrary to everything I’ve ever believed and done in my life. I hope and pray these proceedings to don’t make them [ordinary people] lose faith in the system. I humbly ask for mercy and compassion.”

So even though she has been proven guilty, she is still playing a victim…Typical.
