Chuck Schumer Laughs At Middle Class Bonuses, That’s A “Drop In Bucket!”

Nancy Pelosi has made headlines several times for trying to demean the tens of thousands of dollars in bonuses which middle class employees are getting because of the GOP tax cuts. She predicted bonuses ‘crumbs’ and compared the middle class to mice that are dumb enough to fall into a mouse trap. Chuck Schumer decided he would follow the lead of Pelosi.

“What are most firms doing, so a lot, with these gigantic tax breaks they obtained? They’re announcing stock buybacks that rewards the CEO. It doesn’t help anyone else and raises their inventory.

$100 billion have been declared in stock buyback because the Senate declared its tax bill. When the American people learn that some of them are not getting anything, a number of them are getting increases, and the remainder are getting crumbs, and large corporations and wealthy individuals are receiving fine, fat pieces of pie, they are going to be biased.

“The truth is that these one-time bonuses are a drop in the bucket compared to what companies could do for their employees,” said Schumer.

Though the middle class is saving a massive amount of money, Schumer believes we should be mad that we are not saving more (even though he needs to increase taxes.) We’re also supposed to be mad that wealthy individuals will receive tax cuts also. His tricks are not working.
